Sin embargo, es necesario mantenerse alerta ante las elevadas temperaturas que se registran en esta \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o y los riesgos que esto ocasiona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En verano, las personas est\u00e1n m\u00e1s propensas a sufrir&nbsp;<strong>golpes de calor,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>insolaci\u00f3n, o lesiones musculares<\/strong>&nbsp;debido a la exposici\u00f3n, el esfuerzo y el aumento de la temperatura corporal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En referencia a los cuidados que hay que mantener a la hora de realizar actividad f\u00edsica,&nbsp;<strong>Susana Sembaj, m\u00e9dica pediatra y deport\u00f3loga de la Agencia C\u00f3rdoba Deportes<\/strong>, sostiene:&nbsp;<em>\u201cHay que hacer ejercicio adecuadamente, sabiendo que estamos en condiciones f\u00edsicas, es decir, consultando con el m\u00e9dico de cabecera si estamos adaptados para realizar ese tipo de actividad elegida, de manera personalizada y progresiva\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante el ejercicio, la temperatura corporal aumenta debido a la producci\u00f3n de calor metab\u00f3lico generado por los m\u00fasculos que est\u00e1n activos, lo que incrementa la irrigaci\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea y la sudoraci\u00f3n. Si el esfuerzo de la persona es excesivo puede generar lesiones.\u00a0Asimismo,\u00a0<strong>si la temperatura ambiental es m\u00e1s alta que la corporal, puede desencadenarse un golpe de calor o un evento cardiovascular, con graves consecuencias.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En este sentido, es importante&nbsp;<strong>conocer e identificar los s\u00edntomas iniciales que pueden ocasionar un golpe de calor. Entre ellos se destacan:&nbsp;<\/strong>agotamiento, debilidad, p\u00e9rdida de lucidez, confusi\u00f3n, dificultad para hablar, hipotensi\u00f3n, dolor de cabeza,&nbsp; mareos, posibles desmayos,&nbsp; piel caliente y seca (por el cese de la sudoraci\u00f3n), n\u00e1useas, v\u00f3mitos, diarreas, pulso acelerado y taquicardia, entre otras.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>Es necesario estar atentos y nunca menospreciar los s\u00edntomas. Pueden comenzar de manera insidiosa, y las personas, por querer continuar con su rutina, esfuerzan su cuerpo y pueden contraer un golpe de calor<\/em>\u201d, destaca la especialista.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ante la presencia de alguno de estas se\u00f1ales del organismo es importante interrumpir la actividad de inmediato; evitar la exposici\u00f3n al sol; hidratarse con agua o bebidas deportivas, ya que reponen sales y minerales; refrescar la vestimenta con agua o colocar toallas h\u00famedas en el cuerpo, sobre todo en cuello, axilas e ingle. Siempre es recomendable llamar r\u00e1pidamente al servicio de emergencia para una mejor intervenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sembaj aconseja que<strong>&nbsp;\u201c<em>no hay que llegar a situaciones l\u00edmites que perjudiquen nuestro salud\u201d<\/em>,&nbsp;<\/strong>y recomienda cuidarse y prevenir con h\u00e1bitos simples y saludables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A continuaci\u00f3n, las recomendaciones de la especialista:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Realizar actividad f\u00edsica al aire libre antes de las 10 hs o despu\u00e9s de las 19 hs. En caso de tener que hacerlo en otro horario, buscar espacios con sombra y buena circulaci\u00f3n de aire.<\/li><li>Hidratarse con agua y\/o bebidas deportivas o caseras a base de sales. Antes, durante y despu\u00e9s de la realizaci\u00f3n del ejercicio o deporte.<\/li><li>Evitar la exposici\u00f3n al sol. Es importante aplicarse protector solar adecuado para prevenir enfermedades de piel.<\/li><li>No comer en exceso, priorizar frutas y verduras.<\/li><li>Evitar el consumo de grasas, az\u00facares, alcohol y cafe\u00edna, ya que contribuyen a la deshidrataci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>Usar vestimenta liviana, aireada&nbsp; y de colores claros.<\/li><li>Controlar la cantidad, duraci\u00f3n e intensidad de la actividad. Es fundamental no excederse en el esfuerzo.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los ni\u00f1os menores de 5 a\u00f1os, los adultos mayores y&nbsp; las personas con obesidad o cardiopat\u00edas cr\u00f3nicas deben tener un cuidado especial, ya que su capacidad para controlar la temperatura es distinta.
